Gapeseed

Gapeseed

A Poem by Lyra Caius
"

With the regards of imagination, and a slice of discrimination in creativity.

"
Imagination?
Ideals?
Goals?
Dreams?

Anyone would say that.

The mind is a manifestation of our own thoughts.
We create it.
We give it form.
Making those thoughts live in our world.

We can make them talk.
We can make them walk.
We can make them do what we desire them to do.

Yet we wander in this physical plain.

But we travel with such ideas on our mind.
Our fantasies.
Full of wonders, as we call it.

Our utopia, a world where we could call ours.
Everything is a delusion they say.
An illusion.
A figure you can only see.
A situation you and only you can manipulate.

Yet we delve into such world where people reside in.
Which they call, Reality.
Telling us the things that makes us inhuman.
Judging our every movement.
They laugh at us.
Mock us.
Physically abuse us.

Fine, make your point.

Say that we act weird most of the time.
Say that we are conservative of our actions.
Say that we don’t stoop to your level.
Say that we stick too much on our comfort zone.

It’s what we are.
We call that our reality.

I admit, I live in such fantasies no one could imagine.
It’s all in our minds.

They are the manifestations of our thoughts.
The manifestations of feelings.

Regrets.
Happiness.
Temptation.
Depression.
Satisfaction.

Fantasy is what we call a reality.
We control it.
We can do everything in it.
We are the kings and queens of that reality.
Even the things that didn’t exist can be seen.

It is limitless.
We think what we please.
It’s what we desire.
It’s what we always go for.

We project it out and see it like it’s real.
That it’s part of our world.

Both Reality and Fantasy.

I’m the kind of person who wonders everything.

About our time here.
About our world.
About our purpose.
Yet this goes on as we grow.

Try to answer, and think.

You also imagine things right?
You have ideals of your own?
You have goals to fulfill?
You have dreams to be what you are in the future?

We also do too.

The people you call weird.
The people you call timid.
The people you refer who can’t handle things on their own.

The world is cruel.
No room for considerations.
No room for changes.
It’s always discrimination.

Try to think twice on your judgment.
Maybe even thrice if you could.
Think about yourself as a person of reality.
Think about us, the so-called people of fantasy.

We all have one thing in common.
That we people;
Are the one’s who love to Gapeseed.
