The Dreamer

The Dreamer

A Poem by Jim Bruce
"

Are we dreaming we are awake, or is it the other way round?

"
I dreamed I woke within a dream,
And then again, within that dream,
Peeling back the onion layers,
Reeling from the nightmare,
I floated up towards the light,
All was black, and now it's white,
I dreamed I slept within a sleep,
Sinking down to levels deep,
Whichever one I choose to see,
This is my reality.
