Soft willow and down and cherub

Soft willow and down and cherub

A Poem by jinjahman
"

yes, a bit of soft.

"
Soft willow and down and cherub
and faces touching cheery wind

Bashfully citing gizzard giddy nerves
as the much lauded, nay much needed, loving verve

A carefree fresh fleece flaps
irresistibly
over stolid yesterdays

Cracking corks on rock-solid Saturdays
and Sundays bed-rocked
and altered lives dangling thrift

Soft willow and down and cherub
and faces touching cheery wind

Cache bottle-filled with nuance dimpled current
flowing through vested vein so blue and

pleasurably exhaled from internally bled
artery bulging through a case of eternal red

fearsome breathing but breathing nonetheless
from heaving chest of phlegmatic exhaustion

'til

soft willow and down and cherub
and faces touching cheery wind
calms my mind

Such a tangle of words and images - every line must be contemplated to fully appreciate this piece. I really like how you have contrasted the soft textures with those more rock-solid.
