Thoughts

A Poem by MrBooyay

As if this life matters, we forgot why we're here.  Not to impress but to leave an impression.
We were supposed to be examples, exemplifying our makers love for one another,
yet we tear each others throats, we desire our neighbors wife, we hate the ignorant.
Where is the mercy? Where is the forgiveness that has been given even to the most heinous of sinners?
How can we claim our salvation when we desire justice, but not peace?
We want others to know this pain we feel inside, but we don't even know what it is,
We're bitter and all we want is for everyone else to feel the same...
Two faced, the lot of us. Me included. How great our fathers mercy, that even I can be forgiven,
and given a chance to show another that forgiveness is still a possibility.
