The Wild

The Wild

A Poem by Blck Rose

I love the hood
It keep me humble
Ammo to my hunger
Even tho s**t get ugly
The hood screaming love me
Aint no love n da church
Why is it a bout 5 different churchs per street corner
And every other is a neighborhood hustla
Serving daily highs to my brotha
Ain't no love he servin somebody mother
That's why she never home for supper
Kids n da hood asking why don't nobody love us
Evil runnin rampant
All yall give these kids is jersey club dance
Meanwhile boys wishing somebody, anybody can show em how to be a man
No hope love went ghost
Know who's supposed ta
Save us no modern day hero
Noting but villians preying on da suvillians
Politicans don't care about broke citizens
Da preacher too scared of the hooligans
Well whose supposed to save they soul then
Lost souls with nowhere to go
They don't believe in places called destination
Think its a figure of speech when u speak of destiny
No shackles no chains but we ain't free
