In a Box

In a Box

A Poem by Red Witch of Decca Falls

In A Box

Cast behind a purple light

I see clouds in the distance

But the world has turned upside down

And the ground is now below me

Seven years I have waited

Dreamed what it was like on the outside

But only darkness surrounds me

I am living in a box

Oh wow. That is a bit scary. Living in darkness for seven years!

For some reason the third line ending does not seem to flow enough. But I still like the poem!

A sad little piece but very descriptive of a feeling we all know at some time or other,Wr build walls for protection not realsing the can become a prison cell

I LOVE THIS!

I don't know why.
I've only read a couple poems with the same rythem/format/flow-e-nes, you know what i mean?
But none about a box. This is soooooo good.
I wish i wrote it.

Keep writing. AWSOME write!
I absolutley adore this.

Rina
