"Homeless"

"Homeless"

A Poem by Jason Dyer
"

Brief poem... Notice the first letter of each line.

"

Have you got any change you can spare?

Only got these here clothes I wear.

My home used to be right under there.

Easy to say life's been unfair.

Lonely as I, a friend is rare.

Everyone I know, they don't care.

Steal from a man, I wouldn't dare.

So have you got any change you can spare?

ohhh :) the structural empire of simplicity and sophistication
I do feel unease and bitterness of homeless-chasm-liness but somehow in a very playfull way :)

Pretty deep response (almost the length of the poem)! Thanks for reading, Nona!
