I don't know if you can tell,
But each day in my life is meaningless without you,
My life has no purpose without you,
Because the truth is obvious: I love you...

I meet new people day by day,
And I share exciting experiences with them by the minute,
My life becomes filled with smiles... for a time...
That is, in the short-term...

When I come home after class, I rush here to check my inbox,
Anxious to see if you've sent me a message,
Because no matter how much fun I have that day,
It's all meaningless if you're not there...

Kind of strange, yea?
How I can live a life chock full of laughs,
And then speak of how empty it all is...
You're the answer, baby...

I miss you like crazy, even when we're talking,
Because I am where I am, and you're thousands of miles away...
This fact... this truth... it itches my mind into total discord...
All because I love you so much...

So here I am, and there you are,
Our hearts crying for one another,
Pleading to be together... forever and always...
Nothing can pull us apart... because you're the one...

But the absence of your physical form...
Oh the pain, how I hate it so!
It stings like ice... and it burns like thunder...
Where are you my love? I miss you so much...

But despite the pain of our separation, my faith lives on.
Always believing that we shall be side by side one day.
When our souls will shine and our hearts will sing...
Because you and I were meant to exist together...
