The Calling

A description of the events that have happened just recently.

Some time before, a friend walked up to me with a calling,

a mission from the Lord that events were causing a stalling;

he asked me, "Do you think you are ready,

to accept a life in Christ to set your life steady?"

When I replied with a most confident yes, he proceeded to show me the way,

showed me that with Christ's blessing, my life would shine like the day.

After I accepted Him, my friend asked if I thought I could usher a friend down the lane,

a road that has more love and less pain.

In my heart, I was most certain that I could,

and I felt a calling by God that I should.

I asked my friend if he would go,

but in the beginning, he replied with an absolute no.

After a long discussion, he started to realize,

and he found that with the Lord, there is an awesome prize.

That night, he was shown the light,

but still to this day he still battles with an eternal fight.

But with the support of his brothers, he will endure,

and why I do not know, but of this fact I am sure.

i absolutely enjoyed reading this. it's something that many can relate to and understand.

towards the end though, i am not sure if certain words or lines made sense.
should "eternal fight" be instead "internal fight"?

overall this is written nicely and the story comes across loud and clear.
