Fix me

Fix me

A Poem by joey

Beaten, broken, damned

I sit upon the shelf

Sequestered and forgotten

I was the prized possession

Upheld within

Your prized collection

Torn, ruined

My bright future darkened

I stare with contempt at the floor

Endless pain

As my blood runs free

Yet I cannot help myself

My light is fading

My expression becoming hard and cold

Eyes turn to blood red diamond

My impassive gaze meets yours, unyielding

Your appearance lay shattered

However, is free of guilt

Fiery rage

Vision going red

You did this to me

But only you can undo what's done

Can steal away my pain

Fix me

I like the pain expressed by this, it's so...sad, but beautiful at the same time. I like the bluntness of "Fix me" at the end. Makes for a satisfying closing. Great piece :)

I like the way you make it look as if the person is a broken object. It shows the pain and angry when someone who once loved you neglects you and you feel useless and broken.

I like the directness and the desire in the poem. To seek to be fixed and left for
"Sequestered and forgotten". Great description made the poem strong and the message very clear. Thank you for the excellent poem.
