Residual Love

Residual Love

A Story by John Antonio

What is it you see?

It's some old seed.

I sowed, long ago.

Meet your bounty.

I am all that's left.  Stay.

Demons chip away at this, "us".
You get the remains.

Somehow, It's enough.

Welcome to all that's left.
We'll introduce, your dizzy, aching head.
To love let loose.

I don't understand it.
But I love you for it.

Still don't understand it.
You will...

Stay the path, just stay the path.

Something's causing pain..

You watch it come and go.

Unabated, outwards from my soul.

**REPEAT PRECHORUS/CHORUS**

Outside of control, destined to you.

Your grieving heart of red.

 Mine with blackened hue.
