Down the Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole

A Poem by John B
"

Just a fanciful glace at Wonderland

"

Slide down the rabbit hole with me
It's a wild ride, just wait and see
Insanity running on amphetamines
Nothing is real or what it seems
Talk to the cat or smoke with the worm
Lessons on life is what you'll learn
Mysteries found in a party hat
Just don't drink from the mad man's cap
Careful now and watch your heart
Better keep your head, don't fall apart
The ride lasts for quite awhile
Things are getting crazy and wild
Nothing is as real as it may seem
It's all in context of what I mean
Relate to the angry b***h yelling here
A loud mouth stricken with fear
No escape for those who stay
It's just a place to get away
No rules to govern your daily life
Just watch out the rabbit's got a knife
Slip to deep, he'll take your soul
Leave you with only fool's gold
Run now, the soldiers are coming fast
You cannot hide from your past
Disappear through a looking glass
But be careful or it's your a*s
