No Daylight

No Daylight

A Poem by Black Rose
"

This poem was written three years ago, however this past weekend I lost a very close and dear friend of mine.

"

Lying six feet under

In a cold, dark, abyss

Is the person you waved to this morning

The person with a heart of pure gold

Whose life story can never be completely told

That friendly, anticipated every day

Is nothing more than a memory

Sitting in the park

With the latest gossip and news

Is now just a lost dream
the person who you called

your sister, your friend, your companion

Is now looking down from the place you want to be too

19 years is too short, 19 is too small

The person will never see the stuff you see

Go where you may go

enjoy the stuff you may enjoy

the pain you face is more than you bargained for

tears are the next stop

Will you ever see them again

Maybe in another life

Until then the sun has fallen asleep

And there is no Day light
