L

L

A Poem by Jordan M. DeSurne
"

Short but sweet, I suppose.

"

And I could not help but see life;
A brief connotation of hope and desire in her eyes
Vibrant, overpowering,
Aeons of merriment and cheer.

A river coursing, pulsating, rushing through my veins,
Unsung spiritual warmth at the mere brush of fingertips
A set of cheeks flushed red,
At my sly, yet truthful spoken flatteries.

Somewhat simultaneous, sheepish grins
At a word starting with 'L'
And ending with 'desire'
