Alone

Feeling lonely and sad

Was I screaming cause I heard it in my ears
But no sound was coming out of my mouth
Was I crying cause no tears ran down my face
Was l in pain cause all I felt was my heart breaking
In halves
Was I walking cause I felt nothing beneath my feet
And why were my lungs so dry when the wind was blowing
All over me
Was I alone when I was sitting in the middle
Of a crowd
In the daylight why did I see only darkness
Was I awake cause all I saw was nothing
Was someone holding me cause I felt nothing but the tightness of my skin
Was the sun in the skies cause all I felt was the cold
Getting deep inside my bones
I was waiting, waiting for help that never came
And I slowly faded into the fades
Now I watch over the one I waited for to come but never came.
Alone
Alone at last
