Serendipity

Serendipity

A Poem by NeverAgain

fall sun rise, set to flight
an ineffiable sense of glare
into wind, sand and oncoming night
flutter gentle, bone and bare

cast a shadow upon the land
the ground that we once shared
obstruct the light for once lit sands
represent the ones who dared

one by none, the few who pass
to be faced by what they see
will fall into an endless pit
it was only ever a dream
