Finding My Way Back

When all seems lost in life and you fall far out, there's is always someone to help you get through it and he will always stand by you in all that you do. This poem is about that man.

In a world so full of hate,
I strive to be something bright
Shards of anger impale me,
I feel as if I'm falling.
I no longer know where to go,
My rights and lefts are twisted
I'm so lost.
I'm frightened by everything,
Everything lunges toward me
I fall back... Scared.

I fall into a light,
I can see now
Everything becomes so visible,
Nothing scares me.
I see all the negative feelings and emotions
They're not real beings
I break through all of them
It's so easy to do,
Why didn't I do it before?
I'm protected now.

I begin to fall away again,
I now begin to hate
I'm not scared; I'm scary.
People avoid me.
No one wants to talk to me,
Everyone just turns away.
I turn into the same bad person I was before
I begin to worry.
I need people too, more-so than I thought
I feel powerless after all.

I make my way back,
It's the liveliest I've ever felt
People love me
I can feel love
People can feel my love!
People trust me,
I trust myself.
It's a nice feeling,
The feeing of God!
