If I could turn around
I would
I'd savor the day
In the quietness
Of night

If I could go back
I'd try
Trading back this life
Of treachery
For you

If there ever was hope
Its been lost
To the drop of a steel guitar
To the bottle
To the neon

Nice photo and tale in the poem. I have know Jack Daniels and I like the steel guitar. The poem made me want to know more. Always a pleasure to read your poetry.
