scraping at the bottom
of my sorrows
I am presented with an understanding
that eats at my ability
to stand

bringing me to look into
the lonely eyes of God

of whom
we are merely splinters of

put inside this program to cultivate
the soul
to bring humanity
to the ethereal

weighted down by the
malicious code projected we
go to war

manipulate life given and
chase vanities unconcerned with
the One

that is attempting to shine
through
