yore of halcyon

yore of halcyon

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
the sound of violins
opens my senses
the wind against my face
takes me to another time
a better place
when nature flourished
not only in reality
but also in our hearts
truly aware of the world
we all lived in concord
in peace
with pride in community
we strove for
righteousness of soul
now we are lost
only a stage
a war zone
for the powers
that be
a testing ground
a slave
