A Poem by joshua deathdealer
"

"
Shattered. Anger pushes the jerks in my demeanor.
Accompanied by throes of terror and sadness.

I've reached through this darkness time
and time again to pull what remains of our innocence
into a safe haven.

To bring your battered physique out
of your wounded world.

Where the trees bleed
and the faceless fiends tear at the cracks
in our hearts.

A plane that evil has held together
to blind us of the beauty.

I have driven myself mad from the realization
that I truly cannot save you. Me. Or anyone
else for that matter.

My love alone isn't enough.

It would take the love of the entire world to
heal our lost generations.

The love of every soul walking the face
of our dying planet to mend what is
happening to us.

A powerful and nice write. I like these parts:

"to pull what remains of our innocence
into a safe haven. "

"Where the trees bleed
and the faceless fiends tear at the cracks
in our hearts."

"It would take the love of the entire world to
heal our lost generations.

The love of every soul walking the face
of our dying planet to mend what is
happening to us."

it is frustrating not to be able to help those who are suffering. i feel that there is a small glimmer of hope beneath the weight of despair. even if your love doesn't make a difference to the world it will make a difference to your loved one.

This one touches me deeply luv, it's so rich build op with words, only you can write. I love it, and it gives the world the message we all are haunting for, why it has to be like this, when love is so easy and just so close, sometimes... Wonderful, intelligent, and poignant, I love your writing skills Josh! see you soon back on Writers Den huh! xo

This was a great write. I agree with Coyote the hate needs to stop. We need to help others. The world could be a better place if greed in wealthy countries wennt down. Everyone at some point needs to just lend a helping hand to someone in need. Like I said this was a great write. I enjoyed this piece. Thanks for sharing.

This cld be some notional god (take your pick there are plenty, all unique) talking to his creation, the failed poem MANKIND. Maybe life is at it's core tragic. It is certainly continually volatile. Is that why most of the mean (very) avererage (very0 majority prefer the illusion of stability in a narrow materialism where a hundred global brands are their modern saints? Hey, be a success, St.Mercedes will save you. Hey, you're a winner bud, have another Bud and watch the game on your Sony TV. Life ain't so bad ... provided you don't think or feel too much.

These are true words. I travel the world. Never met a person who wanted to die. They just wanted to have a place to live, food to eat and a job to pay bills. Somehow we stop the hate and greed to stop. Sent food and medicine. Kindness open the door to friendship. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
