What are the ridiculous myths in life?

What are the ridiculous myths in life?

A Poem by Josie E. Cook M. A.
"

Shared blessings or individual wants...

"

What are the ridiculous myths in life?

Philosophy teachers lecturing about Plato to us

In college,

Believing that every person on Earth has

Another half, they must find to complete

them,

And they will fulfill all the needs of each other

After they fuse together to become one unit

Of love and happily ever after,

sharing

Vows to cherish until they part because death

Has arrived,

But never is a long time to consider

And vow to each other with promises to keep

attached

Until one dies.   J. E. Cook ©2017

Well, like I say, life is a theory and my life is practice. Humorous take on how professors--not just philosophy, might I add--can overstep the domain of their knowledge.

Of course, each person is a complete being in terms of their own existence. But, existence in society often requires a long-term partner..for whatever reason.
