Poisonous

Poisonous

A Poem by Journee Nicole

6•1•15

He seduced her
Sedation
Though his charms
Filling her up with poison
As he held her in his arms
You could tell that he had
Done this before
Because of how he arrived
At her heart
All her traps
Were set and ready
Yet he set off no alarms
She was armed
But he slipped thru with out detection
This was more than just a game
It was border line perfection
He had used her
Just like the others
But maybe this time he had gone too far
And had never noticed in her the door he left ajar..
He had filled her
But just slightly below the brim
Because even he knew that his poison had a limit
But he slipped up and gave her a little more than he intended
He had grown to love her and thought it best for him to end it,
but that time has come and gone but this was only the beginning
She had become immune
And now she starts producing venom
She loved him now
Loved him with the hate of all his demons
For the first time she looked
Into his eyes and saw her soul
Trapped and screaming.. At first
Begging to be freed,  but now craving to get even
