Chasing Butterflies

Chasing Butterflies

A Poem by butterfly

How did I fall?
Why is he in my thoughts at all?
I smell him all over me
The scent lingers in my bed in the sheets
I can feel his fingers tangled in my hair
I dont feel it is fair
He tells me he cares
His arms hold me so tight
They travel up and under caressing my spine
Tastes like the finest wine
I didnt go out looking to find myself wanting him by my side
I wish he would disappear
The thought brings more fear
Suddenly I dont want to imagine a life without my dear
I pray more than before to keep us here
I hope he prays for keeping me too
Are we just chasing butterflies?
There must be a million in the sky
I know this must be real
This cant be a game
I know he feels the same
He hasnt caught me yet
I hope this never ends
I wont be afraid, I wont hide
Even if all we are is chasing butterflies
