Orbiting the Moon

Orbiting the Moon

A Poem by butterfly

butterflies orbiting the moon
every day morning and afternoon
Will I see him soon
When do I get to keep you
The stars shine and the sky is blue
Can’t you see we are better together
All I want is you forever
If you don’t exist in the world then let me fade away
Wet doesn’t just pertain to water
Love me like your daughter
Yet wicked like a lover
With a heart that is stronger
I want it all
Catch my fall
I don’t know how I pray God will find away
We don’t have reality sources
To conquer the outside forces
We orbit
We can’t escape each others gravity
We are butterflies orbiting the moon
He is the fork and I am the spoon
I close my eyes his body crushes on me
His lips are on mine as his tongue swirls within
Its only a dream I walk the same path of skin
With his fingers the touch lingers
As I swoon in this reverie
I called his name he heard me in outer space
Text to say he really needs me
Without him I can’t breathe
I starve he is the only food that feeds me
yet this bond isn’t meant to be
we remain in orbit
hoping this gravity will get us somewhere beautiful soon
with two butterflies orbiting the moon
