Childish

Childish

A Poem by butterfly

I always lose this fight
knowing he will never love me right
why keep me always on your mind
when there are no plans to leave your sorry a*s life
then you moved to stockton
might as well been london
but i will never beg you to stay
i can not block even though everything about us is lame
i can’t love another today
I cant seem to find a sweeter kiss
A fine wine bliss
someone to hold on to and miss
hoping to stay childish
we love a little wildish
they tell me there is plenty off fish
oh GOD I can only pray you grant my wish
my heart is a broken compass
I fall in to his arms at the end of every fucked up map
I will cherish the memories I sat on his lap
I had many lovers before and in-between
I always lose to this dream
no matter how dead the butterflies
no matter how loud they scream to be in paradise
i fall blind
i love you like a child
free and wild
this is me
who I will always be
my sister said my clothes are childish
holding on to youth is good
even when I am old I will not be old
I hope I will be shining bright like that yellow star in wish
sparkly gold
a little wildish
i hope we all stay just a little bit childish
