![]() A Love for All TimeA Poem by butterfly![]() For the parents, the mama's and the papas. For mine especially in the month of may![]() I find myself healing But in truth I got a lazy feeling After all the depressing things I am caught up on your angel wings I see the blue jay bird fly over my garden every day Jaybird is my papa’s nickname In the month of May The month for my papa’s birthday the month of mama’s holiday we always celebrated together even though bodies and souls have to separate the human spirit will still stay with a love for all time in the never ending scent of peppermint and Tide filling the pockets all this time strong laughter echoing endless in my mind after going up more than ten years the dew cries good tears In every cherry blossom though the spirit is subtle and solemn it reflects on the pillars of that fallen moon kingdom when the sunrise is bright in the pink colored sky I feel your spirit emerging with mine love forever strong with love’s endless song playing in Bigfoot gift shop music box even when the body fades one thing remains with every little sunlight love stays gleaming through those Oregon cave junction green leaves even now midst this Oakland bay area breeze Eternal love is on my side with every wrong I am grateful for this lifeline Burning with a love for all time ![]() © 2024 butterfly |
