A Poem by julia

If I could catch you for just one second I'd hug you and smell you and beg for a lesson.
One about life or cooking or friends, one about boys or the person I've been.
I'm a student, a sister, a girlfriend as well. Oh yeah. Did you know, I'm bisexual?
I bought a bike last week and made the code "brat", I occasionally worry about getting fat.
I'm trying to remember what else I wanted to say. Am I talking to fast? Did I tell you I pray? But not everyday, just when I feel lonely, or happy or sad. Do you think I'm a phony?
Let me shutup. Tell me about you! or we could just sit here and relax for a few.

As she gave me a look of comfort and knowing I realized quickly the words that were flowing.
She knows I'm a student, a girlfriend too. She knows about my anxiety and my obsession with tattoos.

I guess in a way this is just me saying, I won't ever stop thinking or wishing or praying. Grandma or Grandmom, what would I have called you? I guess it doesn't matter I just want you here. But, until then I'l continue to talk to the mirror.
