Why does it matter?

Why does it matter?

A Poem by Diana Wolf (Jacqueline Stone)

Why does it matter?

Nothing has changed, so why does it matter

I don’t understand it’s just a label

The feelings haven’t left, the conversations are the same

So why?

Also, why do I care?

If it doesn’t matter there’s no reason to say no

Right?

Am I being Preemptively Reactive?

Trying to prevent a possible bad future from happening, when I’m not even sure it will

Future tripping so hard it’s effecting my present

I guess since it doesn’t matter

I’ll relax

See what happens

And worry when it’s needed
