The Power of Hope

The Power of Hope

A Poem by JustWantLove

When all is lost, when all is gone, when one feels utterly alone,
The darkness reigns, no light sheds through,
And everything in life revolves around that one, it's you.

In life the trouble takes its tolls,
At times its burden heavily rolls,
Unable to stand up and fight,
These are the times when our heart falls.

Nevertheless, the times of pain are best experienced once lost,
Through tears and anguish, that is to least at best,
I must confess, there is no rest,
Yet somehow making through the test;
You cry, you smile, you fall asleep,
You dream of life, of love indeed,
The ones that love us, say we mope,
However, in responce I tell them, 'no, I still have hope!'
