New eyes, old heart.

New eyes, old heart.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Fresh from the womb.

Eyes unfocused.

Not supposed to.

But our eyes lock.

Somehow,
  I have become the child.

Just for a moment.

It passes quickly.

Still,
  I can't help but wonder.

To be reborn with new eyes is a interesting topic. The poem is amazing. You went into a good subject using so few words. I like the flow of the poem and the question at the end. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
