I need to get this off my chest.

I need to get this off my chest.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I never know.
Are those my dreams?

I feed on the emotions.

Each time it brings .....

Give me a moment.

This isn't good.

Stop for a bit.

Emotion is supposed to be true.
Something so clear in it's honesty.
A lovely gem.

Push me to this.

O.K.

Let me take a bit.

Fine.

I need to get this off my chest.

~ beautifully written... emotion is all that you say it is... at least that's how i feel about my emotions... they're the only proof of life... and dreams are very much connected to emotions... ~ a fantastic piece of work, monsieur jon...

Ok this is really good. Not sure if you thought of the fact that when emotions go terribly wrong it creates a crushing pain in the chest area that people want "to get off" their "chest" (usually described as an anxiety attach). But it makes this piece have a whole other depth to it when that thought is layered into the poem.

Very well done my friend.
