Flecks

Flecks

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Started with the caustic wit.
  Your eyes cold,
but there were flecks of humor.

Soon, bumbled conversations,
struggling to find the common ground.

Now comfort adds to the confidence.
Glad you have finally left your shell.

Now your eyes are composed of humor,
  with flecks of sarcastic chill.

~ wow... seems like you have rather interesting company... "flecks of sarcastic chill" is beyond brilliant... 'tis a spectacular expression...
