Ran, and barely caught it

Ran, and barely caught it

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Slanted against the wall,
  steam drifting around the temple.

Moment of contemplation.

Past brought me here.

Made me look.

Made me shake it off.

Makes me look forward.

Makes me run.

If I just set on the couch.....

Thought provoking. I suppose everyone is running around but still getting nowhere, in the quest for self-actualization.

~ beautifully analyzed... the past makes us do different things in the present... and perhaps it's most difficult to accept it and to make all parts of the past propel us forward... but i still try to do just that... i keep trying to see if life can be lived without any regrets... ~ this is a very insightful and thought-provoking read...
