Finally, indulge myself

Finally, indulge myself

A Poem by Jon Roggie

At last,
  pretence can be dropped.

No longer on the stage.

Slowly,
  finally, let it in.

Nothing I could do.
   Knew it was coming.

Bit of privacy was needed.

Til we meet again.

~ i think it's great when "pretense can be dropped" even if it's painful... ~ the most momentous encounter of my life thus far was a lot like this piece... ~ i hope the opportunity to meet again presents itself sometime in the future... ~ a very insightful poem... i relate to it a lot...
