I can almost see your face

I can almost see your face

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Sit and stare.
Not trying to be rude,
but I can almost grasp your features.

Years have past,
and the damage has been done.

Beauty meant for the ages,
somehow softer from the touch of the past.

I only wonder if time has taken,
  or helped create.

Thank you!
as I read..Especially the line "Beauty meant for the age" reads gentle like a hand caressing a cheek
this is so sweet!
