How was I turned to stone?

How was I turned to stone?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I know.
  My own fault.

You still must share the blame.

Essence of healing,
  is understanding the blame.

Not my own,
but I must take it on,
only to help in the understanding.

Do the tears help?
  make you understand my shell?

Friend trying to help you move forward?
 Maybe heal?

Give me a chance to do the same?
