How old are you?

How old are you?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

"How old are you?"

Give me a line like that,
   I can't resist.

Older than the mountains,
younger than the rays of the stars.

Age is balanced by learning,
long as you accept to learn.

I could be ancient,
  prefer to be young,
     just like the fountain's spring.

Great reminder that age has no bearing on our abilities... really age is just markers for the vessel..like tree rings...we really are souls ... this is a thinking poem.. really like this one brother tortoise !
