You stole my pose

You stole my pose

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Auguste,
  I am irritated.

When did you come forward,
and why did it make you create?

Take it back,
only to turn it to stone?

Moment,
  chin on my hand,
  quiet contemplation.

Now,
   mocked as a statue,
while only doing what comes natural.

there is an abstractness to your writing that makes us probe the lines with much thought...

i really like your minimalist style...
