Let them run

Let them run

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Simple thought,
  leads to a simple plan.

No restraints,
  merely a jaunt under the desert skies.

Chill of the night,
  after baking in the light.

Stand in the shower of stars.

Ideals taking hesitant steps,
  restrained only by my slow fingertips.

Despite the pain,
  let them run.

my thoughts go in so many different directions on this piece... such beauty there is to behold in the desert...endless blanket of stars...the "chill after being in the light" that almost made me shiver ( :
