All a part of the balancing actA Poem by Jon Roggie
The scales tip back and forth,
each their own honest expression. Examples can be commonplace, prefer to show some true feeling. Friend, too young, taken without warning. In the same group of friends, a child is born. Gives a reason to look forward, while cherishing the past. Been to the family funeral, followed the next day by the wedding. Life and death will always weigh on the scales. Best effort is to not let emotions upset the balance. © 2013 Jon RoggieFeatured Review
