Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Sorry.

I am only trying.

Only 70,
   and I feel it.

Pain is throwing me off.

People are coming to the wrong conclusion.

Only way I can explain,
give a taste of my feeling.

I don't wish that on anyone.

No one should feel the breeze from the ceiling fan.

:: oh... it's excruciating to be misunderstood... i have a tendency to explain myself too much to those who understand me... with time, i'm learning to say what i have to and let go... that brings me more peace but then that could be just me... i don't know the perfect response to being misunderstood... more importantly, i relate to every word in this poem...

there are lots of different ways of saying sorry. this is very direct and is the kind of apology that should be accepted, we all have bad days after all! fantastic.

Thank you. Will try to put up something more joyful soon. Prefer not to dwell.
