Music does soothe the savage beast

Music does soothe the savage beast

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Notice I did not say tame.

The anger will always be there.

Something.....

How can I say it?

There will always be the beast.

The delicate touch is merely the claws restrained.

Soothed by the music.

"Please don't stop the music..."
Great write, a zebra can't change it's spots, or whatever that saying is.

music is the ultimate soother...

when we are feeling heartbreak and hear a song about it...it usually does not make us sadder...it is comforting to know someone else has been there...

Sylvia plath said "readers want to know from someone who has been there and knows the worst!"
