An evening skipping across the water

An evening skipping across the water

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Each step a ripple,
reflecting the light from the stars.

I have to smile.

I could huddle in a room,
  letting darkness take control.

No.

I will tease the fish,
  each action creating light,
    shining into the depths.

Care to join?
  Dancing upon the nighttime waters?
