Time for the hood

Time for the hood

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Let me keep this proper,
I am talking about a style of dress.
      This is already going wrong.

Back in the day,
and I do mean back in the day,
someone would come into the village,
         and spin a tale.

You never saw a face,
  you only heard the voice.

You heard a proper story.

I can only wait to continue.

I must withdraw into my hood.
