Those Who Wait

To those who wait,

goodness will come.

it will be a struggle,

a fight within yourself.

To those who wait,

freedom will find you.

trapped by time,

eventually you will

be set free.

To those who wait,

i praise you.

the rush of life,

the pressure of everyday.

To those who wait,

believe in all things.

no one is bad by nature,

twisted lies have

led them astray.

Hi I really enjoyed your poem. To me it was an uplifting poem to all people who maybe struggling with something in life perhaps unemployment, illness, injustice or even depression that if they just hold on something good will come along...well done .

The last stanza is my favorite... It's not the person but the circumstances that makes him bad... Patience is definitely the key thing here, the ones who wait will find the peace of life again, the darkness and pain will go away someday, they must never give up... A very positive write... Well done..
