Red ute

Red ute

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)

If I was a guy
I'd buy a red ute
I'd drive it to the beach
And keep the surfing chicks
At bay
If I were a guy I'd keep my
Ute so shiny it would shimmer
And drive it around
For surf and sand
And fish from piers
And eat fish and chips
And ice cream cones
From corner shops
Across this land
If I were a guy
If I were a guy
Oh what's the use
I'll drive my white Camry
And dream of sunsets
With red Utes
And purple flaming skies

Nice poem. Really makes me think of how fun summer is for some reason.
I think it was unintentional, but the internal rhyme of utes with use at the end was like a cherry on top. If it wasn't, it was well-placed.
