Rainbow hues

Rainbow hues

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

I feel I'm sliding again

"
tonight I did slide
down that purple stripe
After the purple rain
Down
Into the blues greens mauves
Hey but
I was sitting on yellow
Like the "top o' the morning "sun
Only Yesterday

The golds pinks oranges
Sunny happy loving kind
Feely feely free happy peace man!
Yeey
Don't let me slide down again I beg you
Let me stay hey!
Just one more day
I pray

I like to sing the blues but baby
I don't sing in sync
In blues
I don't do well in that rainbow
Hue
Give me pink and gold and orange and red
Just not the blues please just not today I pray

Get me out of these blues
This particular rainbow hue
The blues no not today please
Today I pray
The view from the blues
In that rainbow hue
Is nothing new
Alas I have to say
As I slip and slide away

And leave the golds
Pinks and happy hues
Way behind
In my mind
For my tortured heart mind and soul
To yet wearily again unbind
To climb up again
That pretty pretty pink
At this God's rainbows feet

Love the use of colors to create the emotions in this piece.

No one likes being stuck in the blues for too long. This whole piece is creative And crafts that felling of being happy and not wanting to be sad again.
