DreamsA Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
Who am I
Who are you I'm stuck inside My mind so full Of many different hues It's red and white Grey Black and orange And yellow It's never pink or mellow My purple hue it comes So fast Like an unexpected supper Eaten up so very fast Topped off with a plate Of pink marshmallow On my pillow shaded cream Of apricots I want the calm I need the emerald sea The azure pink That violet hue But instead I feel A yellow orange reddish hue I need the calm The steadfast blue The violets wild That purple hue I need the paleness of The lavender as it grows So wild At old post box On some far off country lane In jacarandas blue Oh country hue Take me to this place now see I close my eyes The vision lies I'm there instantly In my dream My lavender hues in dreams with you © 2017 Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)Reviews
