Feeling gutted down quite low tonight some sort of fool is I tonight wrote this deep expression Of how lost I feel interpret as you will I’m fine just needed to express

This isn’t a love lost
Or found
This ain’t a I’ll write to get
A review off the very best
This is me
Saying ok here goes it......

I look around
I see faces
Staring
I’m green in envy
White in my ghost like voice
Black in my darkest soul
Blue in my iris deep
And red through my
Pinkest cheek
I feel the word belong
I see it written
It’s floating in the sky
Like a white misty smoke
Left from a forgotten
Exhaust of flight
A joy ride
I took
But never quite enjoyed
It’s life

The word belong
It’s fading
In that blue yonder sky

Belong
Belong
That word means
Bought
For just a song
No opera house
No standing ovations
No starlight melody
Can make me belong
To anyone else
But maybe to just me

I don't know. Some days, I feel out of place. I feel I belong elsewhere. I liked your poem. You left the reader with something to think about. Longing, belonging, just words to make us pay attention. Maybe we are, just snow in the wind on a snowy day. Falling where we must. Thank you Julie for sharing the outstanding poetry.
